The sun shone, the fashion dazzled, and a great day was had by all at the Dream Workers 2009 inaugural Race Day, held at the Gold Coast Turf Club.
With all of the raffles, games, auctions and donations received on the day from our very generous 155 strong guest list, we raised nearly $11,000 to help Hopewell Hospice to continue it's great work of supporting people who are experiencing their end of life journey.
Thanks must go to our many sponsors who so generously supported the day, but special thanks to The Good Guys at Helensvale, Conrad Jupiters, Burleigh Showcase Jewellers, The Door of Youth, Dr.John Arbuckle, Gold Coast Golf School, Healthy Lifestyle Clinic, Bell Legal Group, artist Paula Hywood and Airlie Apartments who so generously donated items that helped us to raise so much money for a great cause.
