WHO IS DREAM WORKERS?

Commencing its operation in 2005, Dream Workers is an organisation run exclusively by volunteers who help to raise funds for individuals and charities on the Gold Coast.

WHAT SERVICES DO DREAM WORKERS OFFER?

Dream Workers help individuals and charities to achieve their goals by financially assisting them. Dream Workers provide a voice for those in need who may not otherwise have one. Dream Workers help to promote the great work that local charities are doing in our community.

Dream Workers helps to unite the Gold Coast Community spirit.

The community can give to a local charity, safe in the knowledge that the money donated is not being used for expensive overheads and wages.

All individuals and charities are carefully assessed for their needs and how your donation will be utilised.

Needed for someone in need...

A Gold Coast lady that is struggling right now desperately needs a Second Hand Car Seat for her 15 month old son.

If you know of anyone that no longer needs their child's car seat and would be able to donate it to a worthy person, please contact Deb Smith of Dream Workers on 0412 3890 607 to arrange pick up.

Vision Personal Training help the Community to lose weight and help charity

Owner of Vision Personal Training at Mermaid Beach, EJ Barnes has a weight loss challenge starting at his salon on August 29th, 2010.

The challenge is for people to lose as many kilo's over a 9 week period, as possible. The national winner has the chance to win a trip to Hawaii for their efforts.

E.J. decided that he would also like to add another incentive for his clients, and that is for them to help out Nicole as an additional motivator.

Vision Personal Training at Mermaid beach are asking their clients on the challenge to be sponsored by family and friends for each kilo that they lose.

All this money will be donated to Dream Workers for Nicole's Appeal.

Local Gold Coast Restaurants Help out the Community

Local Broadbeach restaurants, 1two3, Sage and Yellowfin have developed a cheeky but fun calendar, with all profits received being donated to local charities.

Dream Workers are really excited to have been chosen as one of the recipients of the funds raised from calendar sales.

The calendars are to be launched in late August, so we will keep you up to date once they are on sale.

It's a great way to help out local charities, and Dream Wokrers are very grateful to be recipients of such a worthy fundraiser.

B.W.T. - Business Women's Breakfast helps out Gerome Grimer's Family

At the April 2010 Business Breakfast the great group of ladies came through - yet again and donated so generously to the Grimer family appeal.

$500 was donated the the Grimer Family Appeal.

Gerone Grimer has had to undergo over 20 operations on his brain since his premature birth 4 years ago.

Gerome's mum was very thankful to the ladies from the BWT breakfast who gave so generously on the morning.

McKenzie Comer Lends a hand to Dream Workers

Local teenager on the Gold Coast, McKenzie Comer is a great supporter of Dream Workers.

McKenzie has an amazing voice and has a huge following on You Tube with her many music videos.

Recently, McKenzie visited Nicole Tierney and her family at home, and offered to sing for Nicole.

Nicole listened intently the whole time McKenzie was singing.

McKenzie was so moved by the plight of Nicole, she she has specially created a video on You Tube for Nicole, and is using this as a platform to raise money for Nicole's Appeal.
